Carmen Malis King is a Detroit-rooted herbalist with over a decade of herbal studies, a writer, and a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach. 

Her approach to herbalism is based in plant knowledge from her Central American cultural background, in deepening relationships to plants found in the Great Lakes region, and in openness to continue to learn from plants and to learn from each other about the many ways to interact with plants. 

Carmen has a Master of Art in Integrative Health Studies from the California Studies (2015), and participated in the Herbal Education and Training through Farmacy Herbs (2011), and in the Lindera Herbal Intensive with Jim McDonald (2012). She is a collaborator with Healing By Choice! since 2013.
